Family Fun Day

Our annual fun days have become a very popular event for our members and the community. Each year we see over 1000 people through the gates! Browsing various stalls such as handmade crafts, Fortune tellers, food stalls, Ice cream vans and plenty of inflatables and game stalls to keep all of the family entertained! We also have amazing acts, bands, dancers and a DJ bringing a fun and lively atmosphere to the entire day!

Past Family Fun Day's

Our Fun day took place on Sunday 17th July - There was lovely weather, great acts, many wonderful stalls and inflatables, and of course our amazing volunteers who gave up their day to come down and help us out... So a huge thank you to everyone that attended on Sunday to support Upwards with Downs. We raised over £4000 and are still expecting more to come in from match funding. This money will go a long way and will enable us to continue supporting our members with activies like; speech therapy, 1-2-1 swimming lessons, our discos, days out etc.

Upwards with Downs Fun Day

Our annual Fun day was held at the link, Harlow on Sunday 12th July.

The day was a huge success! Thank you so much to everyone who came along, through the rain, wind and sun shine (The great British summer) and helped us raise over £5000 which is an amazing amount for a small charity like us, we are also expecting a further £4000 in match funding. This money will help us reach further goals as a charity, like providing hospitals with information packs on how to break the news to parents that their child has Down Syndrome.
